With a city as big as Chicago to explore, I can find cuisines from all around the world with very little trouble. While I don’t go out to eat often, I will probably be profiling my favorite grocery stores. Whether you’re a local Chicagoan or not, I hope my recipes will inspire you to try something new the next time you go shopping.

Someday perhaps I’ll have a chance to visit my international friends and experience their street food and local markets, but for now I focus on building my repertoire of home cooked foods and reminiscing.

If you are one of my local friends, don’t forget I love entertaining and am happy to have people invite themselves over for dinner (with a day or two advance notice – you don’t want to hit a day we’re eating cereal for dinner after using up all of our leftover feast food).
